It’s finally here! The fifth annual Penny-Arcade Expo is upon us, revelers! Will you be attending? Quiksave will! Our four finest operatives, Luke, Simon, Marri, and your fearless leader, Tom, will be at the show taking it all in, and spewing it out here for you. On the eve of our departure, we’ve received a few sa-weet announcements of some playable goodies on the show floor.

Fallout 3, already a confirmed presence in some form, was just confirmed to be playable to the general public! GASP! With it’s release just under two months away, that puppy’s close to the final product, and we’ll be able to line up for approximately three hours to get our sweet hands on it! We won’t let you down, audience!

Microsoft has also said that Gears of War 2 will be playable on the floor, in both a 5 vs. 5 deathmatch mode as well as two separate stages from the campaign. If everyone lines up to play the blockbuster titles, I should have no problem at all getting my fill of Imagine: Teacher and My Weight Loss Coach back in the dark Ubisoft corner! So long, suckers!
