Killzone 2 to get Co-op Patch, Bots After Launch

Those guys at Guerilla studios sure know how to stroke a game-boner. Just sayin’. The slew of new multiplayer Killzone 2videos pouring out of Leipzig are showcasing some amazing things. I don’t need to tell you that watching the game is like high-fiving your deity of choosing (we don’t discriminate here!), but all the features we’re slowly being shown for Killzone 2 are just… they’re just great.

The robust online play was detailed back at E3, featuring a deep class and leveling system, various tournament and clan options, as well as a huge range of maps and modes to choose from. Now we find out that shortly after the game is released in early ‘09 we’re going to get full on co-op play patched in, as well as the ability to play deathmatch modes with bots, both online and offline. Bots don’t seem like a big deal to most, but they go a long way in making local play more accessible.
