Who didn’t see this coming? Some recent scans of Famitsu reveal that a sequel to the highly addictive and highly adorable Patapon will be hitting Japanese PSPs this winter. New units, battle commands, missions and bosses all seem to be on the table, but don’t take my word for it. You can see the scans yourself after the jump.

Elephants and giant Ostrich? My prayers are answered! Naval battles are rumored, but the top image is an unconfirmed one, to be sure. The scan does, however, reveal some sweet, sweet multiplayer action on the way. Four-player, nonetheless.

Patapon was a unique and endearing experience, but do we really want more of the same with a shinier coat? I can hear the overwhelming “YES!” all the way from the other side of the internet, but I’m hoping that Pyramid has some surprises in store.
