Bethesda Softworks Blows Up Washington

Washington DC Blown Up

Oh my god! Who could do such a thing? Al-Qaeda has really done it this time: they’ve hit the White House. To think, all of Washington DC gone in one nuclear blast… What’s that you say? It wasn’t al-Qaeda? It was Bethesda Softworks? Wow, I knew they made good video games, but I didn’t know they made such potent Weapons of Mass Destruction! That said, Oblivion did manage to blow the competition out of the water in 2006.

The SITE Intelligence Group found the above picture on a “password-protected forum affiliated with al-Qaeda”. It was quickly realised that it was concept art for the highly anticipated Fallout 3, which is being developed by Bethesda. A lot of confusion arose out of who SITE accredited the photo to, but that isn’t terribly interesting, so I won’t bore you with the details. What is interesting is that Fallout 3 is expected out this fall. The developers have been very discrete with the games details thus far, but look forward to more trailers and screenshots before too long.
