Battlefield: Bad Company Demo Coming June 5th

It’s been a rough ride for Battlefield: Bad Company thus far. The bad mojo surrounding the game is chiefly from when we heard the game would be spanking us with a slew of micro-transactions, requiring the player to pay for new weapons. After the news was leaked, and met with the weeping/screaming of the internet, it was retracted, and we seem to now live in a world where Battlefield is free after the $60 you initially pay.

There will be a demo for the game, releasing on June 5th, that is, unless you’ve preordered the game, in which case the demo is waiting for your download on May 29th (presumably through some super-secret download code). The closed beta came and went a short time ago, and there were a few spots of ugliness to work out. With a demo showcasing the game to a much larger audience, they’d better have the kinks worked out if they want this kitten to purr. Battlefield: Bad Company releases exclusively on the 360 on June 23rd.
