The newest title we can expect from Q games looks to be PixelJunk Eden. The studio focussed on microgames on PSN started out slow with Pixeljunk Racers: a huge disappointment, but all was forgiven with the release of PixelJunk Monsters, the adorable and surprisingly complex take on tower defense featuring a tiki-tribe in need of protection, and hordes of still fairly cute monsters, bent on their destruction.

PixelJunk Eden, however, looks like something completely new. Looking at the video, one can’t be exactly sure what the goal of the game would be, though it appears to center around using your movable speck to collect various objects scattered throughout the sky. Whenever a game breaks the mold like this in terms of both gameplay and visual style I always need to check it out, and I have yet to be disappointed. Eden doesn’t look like it will break the streak.
